Really, the main reason for that was quite simple. Irisviel was not only extraordinarily beautiful, she also helped him enjoy life just by spending time with him. It wasn't long before Xander started to actively look forward to their dates, and was always sad to see them end.
Today is no different. As he arrives at the Einzbern manor, he can barely hide the smile on his face. In his hands is a bouquet of Nohrian black roses for his fiancée. He's greeted by the maids, one of whom escorts him to Irisviel's personal quarters. Once there, she departs, and he knocks on the door.]
It's me. Are you ready?
Greg + Iri
( Over the counter, Irisviel set down a small bouquet of flowers, carefully wrapped in translucent plastic: pink roses for appreciation, white lilies for sweetness, and pear blossoms in indicate affection. She'd prepare a different bouquet for him every week, meticulously crafted to tell him a new message.
Whether or not he caught her intent mattered not. Truth be told, Kiritsugu's memory still haunted her-- making it difficult to say anything outright. But Gregory's smile alone was enough to make her feel faint, and she always adored hearing about his son's attempts to tend to her flowers. It would be enough, she thought. He needn't become involved-- if he didn't want to. She didn't want to saddle him with that burden.
Nevertheless, she smiles carrying on with him as chipper as ever. )
Oh, and Illyasviel would love to see him again, too. She said she had so much fun with their tea party, last time.
( Well, she had fun.
Not sure if the same could be said for Miles.)no subject
That was the only flower meaning he knew, really.
He smiles warmly at her, tips his hat, and bows before picking up the bouquet carefully.]
Thank you. I will be sure to deliver your message to him.
[Ah, the tea party. His smile seems to grow wider at the mention of that.]
...As well as Illyasviel's.
[Miles was slowly warming up to Illya. It made Gregory proud and relieved; his son was making more friends!]
